Kung Fu

A class for ages 12 and up

What is Kung Fu?

With over 4,000 years of history, Chinese martial arts encompass numerous styles, each with its own characteristics and origins. While self-defense and combat skills are core components, many styles also emphasize Qi cultivation, meditation and spiritual development. The origins are often traced back to ancient China, with styles evolving from military training, animal imitations, or secret family martial arts.

Our program

Six Treasures Fist is the style of Chinese martial arts (Kung Fu) taught at Savior Martial Arts®. This style incorporates different animal forms in its self-defense and combat skills, with core components of striking, throws, grappling, joint locks and traditional Chinese weapons. It suits the whole family, ages 12 and up, at any experience level or physical ability. We can find a path that is right for you on your journey in martial arts.
